If you are reading this guide, it means you have passed the application review phase, and we think you have the potential to be an Auxilian. An Auxilian is meticulous, adaptable, and curious. We look for evidence in your professional trajectory and throughout our recruiting process that inspires confidence in your ability to anticipate, adapt, and achieve.

It is part of Auxilia’s mission to fuse the best of technological advancement with human intelligence. At every step of the process, there is someone behind the screen considering your candidacy and rooting for you.


Here is an overview of our recruiting process:

  1. Application: You submit an application form via our website so that we can learn more about you and your professional background. We carefully consider your application and whether there is a potential fit. Once we have reviewed your profile, we determine whether you have the core skills and characteristics that every Auxilian needs. You are here! 📍
  2. Screening: This is a short, structured interview focused on your motivations, communication style, and initial fit. We want to understand why you're interested in Auxilia, how you think about your work, and what you're looking for next. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for our team and mission.
  3. First Interview: This conversation focuses on your professional background, technical expertise, and problem-solving approach. We’ll ask about past projects and how you’ve tackled challenges. You’ll also have space to ask us questions and understand the scope and structure of the role you’re applying for.
  4. Take Home Exercise: You’ll receive a practical task designed to reflect the kind of work you'd do at Auxilia. We want to see how you think, communicate, and prioritise — not just whether you arrive at the "right" answer. We know your time is valuable, so the task is scoped to be completed within a few focused hours.
  5. Second Interview: This is a broader conversation with members of the team. We explore how you work with others, what motivates you, and how you approach ambiguity and decision-making. We’ll also discuss your take-home exercise and how you arrived at your conclusions.

Once you have advanced through these steps, we ask you to complete a self-declaration form and we conduct standard reference and background checks. If you pass through to the final phase, you will have a final round interview with our Founder and if he seals the deal, we offer you a position at one of our business operations hubs.

It is our goal to find top and undiscovered talent across the Global South, provide them with opportunity and global exposure to the US and UK tech and startup industries, and be an important next step in their career. We look not for a finished product, but the potential for greatness.
